Bruce M. Kahn, PhD
Portfolio Manager, Sustainable Insight Capital Management (SICM)
Bruce counts with over 25 years of experience in environmental and investment research and management. Prior to his work at SICM, Bruce was a director at Deutsche Bank’s Asset Management division. Here, he acted as an investment strategist and conducted research on sustainable investing (clean tech, water and agriculture), as well as ESG/SRI strategies across several asset classes.
Previously, he managed assets at Citi Smith Barney in sustainable investments, including agri-business and clean tech for foundation/ endowment, HNWI and institutional clients.
Bruce is also a Trustee and Chair of the Finance Committee of the Robert and Patricia Switzer Foundation.
He is also a member of the Board of Visitors for the Gaylord Nelson Institute of Environmental Studies at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
Bruce holds a BA in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from the University of Connecticut, and MS in Fisheries and Allied Aquacultures from Auburn University and a PhD in Land Resources from University of Wisconsin-Madison.
