Dr. Gunhild A. Stordalen
Founder and president, EAT Foundation
Gunhild A. Stordalen is the founder and president of the EAT Foundation. She was born in 1979. She is a medical doctor from the University of Oslo and holds a PhD in pathology/orthopedic surgery. Together with her husband Petter A. Stordalen, she funded the Stordalen Foundation in 2011, which she also chairs. She is also the founder and chair of the environmental organization GreenNudge. Gunhild is a driving force in linking climate, health and sustainability, and serves on the board of several NGOs, such as ECOHZ Renewable Energy Foundation and the international advisory board of The Stockholm Resilience Centre. Furthermore, she sits on the board of the Nordic Choice Hotel Group. She is also a member of the Scaling Up Nutrition (SUN) Movement. She is a published scientist and a renowned public speaker with a personal voice and strong commitment. Gunhild has been ranked among the 100 most influential Norwegian Women by the financial magazine Kapital several times, was named Woman of the Year in 2013 and 2015 for her environmental work by the Norwegian magazine KK, Environmental Hero of the Year by WWF Sweden in 2014, and appointed as Young Global Leader by World Economic Forum in 2015. In 2016 she was listed among the 150 most influential business communicators in Sweden according to Resume.
