Zeinab Badawi

Zeinab was educated in Russian, Latin and History before she attended St. Hilda’s College, Oxford University, to study for a BA Hons in Philosophy, Politics and Economics (1978-1981).

She also received a distinction for her post-graduate studies in History and Anthropology of the Middle East at the School of Oriental and African Studies at London University SOAS in 1989.

Zeinab has extensive experience in television and radio, working on a range of programmes, production and presenting- both in the studio and the field.

Currently, she is a patron of the BBC World Service Trust.  She has also been a board member of the British Council and the Overseas Development Institute.
